We’re looking for a Veterinary Technical Advocate to join our team and help shape the future of animal health in Malaysia.
What You’ll Do
As a Veterinary Technical Advocate, you’ll serve as the bridge between science, veterinarians, and the community by:
- Providing technical and scientific support to sales teams, distributors, and customers.
- Building strong relationships with veterinarians, farm managers, and pet health stakeholders.
- Advising on product development and sharing local market insights with management.
- Creating impactful presentations, training content, and digital education materials.
- Representing at seminars, conferences, and veterinary universities.
- Staying on top of the latest in animal health, diseases, and industry trends.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance in product claims, registrations, and documentation.
- Supporting animal welfare initiatives through content creation, webinars, and collaborations with shelters, sanctuaries, and zoos.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent, registered with MVC and holding a valid APC.
- 3–7 years’ experience in practice, technical services, or regulatory affairs (livestock experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia & English (other languages are a bonus).
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, animal nutrition, and husbandry.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, CRM, webinars, and e-learning tools (e.g., Kahoot, LMS).
- Willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia and occasionally abroad.
- Integrity, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
